Occupational Vaccinations

We are now able to provide occupational Hepatitis B vaccinations.  Please arrange an appointment with the Practice Nurse if you require this service.

Occupational Health Titres:

If you require evidence of your titre results then we can provide a certificate for each titre for a charge of £10 per certificate.

A separate certificate must be provided for each titre.  So if we are taking titres for Varicella, Rubella and Hep B then the patient will require 3 certificates at a total charge of £30.

All payments must be paid in advance and be in cash.

Electives:

If the vaccinations and titres required are not a course or travel requirement then you have to attend the School of Tropical Medicine and pay the relevant private costs.

Patients should not need to have normal titres repeated.  If you require this procedure again then there is a charge of £10 per certificate per titre.

If the elective medical requires a chest x-ray then you will be referred privately and will need to pay the relevant costs to the provider.

Patients can attend the School of Tropical Medicine in Pembroke Place (708 9393) or Norwich Union Occupational Health Services (2241400) for further advice and/or treatment.

Mantoux Tests:

These are normally only provided to University of Liverpool students as part of their course requirement.

Mantoux required for electives may be given if there is a current session for Occupational Screening.  There will be a charge of £20 for a TB Test Certificate.

Other patients can referred to the School of Tropical Medicine and they will charge for this test
