The Student Health Service, run by Brownlow Medical, office the following services to all Liverpool University Students. Doctor/Nurse consulting times - appointments can be arranged to see the doctor or nurse about illness related to University work. Contraceptive advice - full contraceptive advice including condoms and emergency contraception are available from the nursing team Course vaccinations Student Occupational Health Screening - click here for more information Medicals as required by courses Certification - Sick notes and letters for Faculties when appropriate Sexual health screening - click here to see a poster for more details Student Health Advice Centre (SHAC) - Available during term time only. Situated at the Halls of Residence (Carnatic Halls), offering a whide range of nursing services including Family planning. Psychology Service - A student health Psychologist works as part of the team at Brownlow Medical and the Doctors can refer to this service as appropriate.
